Today is the 12th anniversary of September 11th, 2001. The occasion was marked this morning by local firefighters, veterans, and community members with a memorial service at the firefighter’s fountain in Owego’s courthouse square. Firefighters from Owego met at the Central Fire Station on North Avenue, and walked down to the courthouse square together at 8:30.
