Binghamton Mayoral candidate Rich David has exceeded more than three times the amount allowed for campaign contributions. Reports came in Wednesday that David had received $3,700 from Zona and Co. Grille, but the Broome County board of elections says candidates are allowed a maximum of $1,166 from non-family members, a number determined by multiplying 5 cents by the number of registered voters in the city. The limit applies to both cash and any services donated.
