We have more information on a fire we reported on earlier in the week that took place in the Town of Berkshire. The house and garage that caught fire belonged to the Berkshire Fire Department’s Assistant Fire Chief, Ken Bean. The house was a total loss, including all of the family’s possessions. The Berkshire Fire Police are having a dinner tonight to help benefit the family, and donations of any items for the Bean family can be dropped off at any NBT Bank.
