Two arrests have been made in connection with a homicide in Binghamton. Crews were called to 32 Mygatt Street around 6 a.m. Monday after a report of a dispute. They found a critically injured woman who said her boyfriend had just been murdered. That’s when police noticed the home was on fire. Once crews put the fire out on the second floor, they found the body of a man. Monday night, police announced the arrest of two suspects: 21-year-old Julian Talamantez (the 4th) from Binghamton, and 25-year-old Nigel Saunders from Binghamton. Both have been charged with one count of murder and one count of attempted murder. The female victim was transported to an area hospital and is currently listed in critical condition.
