The Royal Australian Navy accepted its first two MH-60R helicopters during a ceremony Tuesday at Lockheed Martin in Owego. The Australian military has ordered 24 of the helicopters, known as the “Romeo”, through the United States Navy. The helicopters are assembled in various locations throughout the country before the finishing touches were performed by workers in Owego. About 600 employees in Owego worked on the Romeo helicopters.
