On Saturday morning, it was standing-room-only at the Broome County Property Auction. Vacant lots, residential homes, and commercial lots were auctioned off to the highest bidder, with over 200 bidders participating in the auction this year. 135 properties were auctioned off during the event, and all properties sold typically close within 30 days. Officials say they expect to generate about $88,000 in tax revenue from the sold properties.
