The Greater Binghamton Airport is set to receive hundreds of thousands of dollars in upgrades. Broome County officials announced that the airport will be getting improvements totaling $750,000. The money will go toward new carpeting, new bathrooms, new seats with outlets, and new trash cans and recycling containers. The screening checkpoint will also be redesigned, and the airport will be upgrading its flight information display system. All of the work is expected to be completed by the end of May.
