The trial for the man accused of murdering his estranged wife and her friend last year in Binghamton has been set for this spring. 40-year-old Aaron Powell was charged with one count of first-degree murder and two counts of second-degree murder in the deaths of 35-year-old Christina Powell and 24-year-old Mario Masciarelli in March. Powell pleaded not guilty to the charges. His trial has been slated to begin on May 19th in Broome County Court.
