The Owego-Apalachin Foundation for Excellence in Education has announced that they will be accepting grant applications now through the end of February. Ideas for grants can be submitted by students, teachers, staff, parents, residents, businesses, or agencies. The foundation is looking for grant proposals that would help prepare students for the challenges of this century, and help enhance their educational experiences. Grants must be used within one year of acceptance, and the Foundation encourages requests of up to $500 per grant. Grants can be applied for by submitting a written request by mail to the Owego Apalachin Foundation for Excellence in Education, PO Box 576, Apalachin. Interested parties can also download an application from the foundation’s website at www.OAFoundation.com. Completed grant applications must be received or postmarked before February 28th.
