The Family Reading Partnership in Owego looks to provide free books for children in the area, and a zumba event on Saturday at Owego Free Academy was the group’s latest initiative to gather reading materials for the youngsters. The nonprofit held its first ever Zumbathon at the school, with everyone participating in the workout donating either ten dollars or a box of books. The Family Reading Partnership is currently low on books, in part because of a large amount of donations made following the 2011 flood.
