The woman recently sentenced to a state prison term for a 2011 alcohol-related crash in Broome County has withdrawn a bid to remain free until her appeal is decided. 25-year-old Jaclyn Wesley of Binghamton was convicted of driving drunk and crashing her SUV into the Chenango River, killing her three passengers. She had originally returned to court on January 31st after her attorneys asked the judge to postpone her sentence until an appeal was decided, which could have taken up to a year, but that request has since been withdrawn.
