Another fire has been reported in our area. Early Tuesday morning, the Binghamton Fire Department responded to a fire at a vacant building at 92 Henry Street. Around 3:55, firefighters were dispatched to the scene, where the three-story building had a fire contained to just the basement. Responders were able to quickly extinguish the flames within about five minutes. Henry Street had to be temporarily shut down from Carol to Fayette streets while the fire department was on the scene about an hour total. No injuries were reported, and the Binghamton Fire Marshal’s Office is currently in the process of investigating the cause of the fire.
