Potholes caused a number of flat tires along State Route 17 East on Saturday. Over 15 tires were popped as a result of the potholes on the highway. New York State Police had to slow down traffic so crews could come in and patch the two potholes near the Interstate 81 South on-ramp. The road was patched around 5 o’clock that evening. Crews will be back on scene to repair the potholes today.
