The Binghamton Fire Department also had to respond to a fire Saturday night at a bar on Main Street. According to reports, people inside the Belmar Pub at the time of the fire saw flames coming from the pub’s kitchen. Firefighters were called to the scene just after 9:30 Saturday night and the flames were extinguished within minutes. The building’s owner says there is significant damage to the kitchen. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
