Over $200,000 in grant awards was given to local artists and non-profits from the Broome County Arts Council. The grants, which come from the United Cultural Fund, went to 20 artists and organizations. The UCF gives the annual awards made up of community donations, with money coming from local businesses, individuals, and Broome County government members. The UCF has been operating in Broome County for 27 years.
