The Moose Pie Sketch Comedy group is a group of five people that perform around the area, and their talents will be on display this weekend in Vestal. The comic group, which consists of members Bonnie DeForrest, Adara Alston, John Montgomery, David Adams, and John Carey, perform sketches and acts that they have written themselves.
This weekend, the group will be at the Vestal Rail Trail Coal House, as they look to raise funds for the café. Carey says that Moose Pie has worked on fundraisers for a number of causes in the past.
The Vestal Rail Trail’s PR director Eileen Hanrahan, who is a former member of Moose Pie, thought to bring the group in to perform, as they look to raise money for the rail trail’s mission.
The performance will be taking place at the Vestal Rail Trail Coal House on Stage Road in Vestal starting at 8 o’clock on Saturday. The cost of admission is ten dollars, and if you’d like to reserve your spot you can call ahead at 760-8431.
