Along with their announcement on Thursday of a lease option with Tioga Country Club, Tioga Downs also made an announcement of their first annual WinterFest celebration scheduled for this year. The WinterFest will feature a lightshow, fireworks, and a music extravaganza that will begin at the end of November. Tioga Downs President and General Manager Tom Osiecki says Owner Jeff Gural had the idea to bring a light show to the Downs. The creator of the sound and lighting extravaganza is Ken Williams, owner of W&W Nursery in Apalachin. The WinterFest will feature shows every weekend from Black Friday through Christmas Day, and daily between Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
