A traffic stop in Broome County resulted in four arrests. Members of the county’s patrol division were conducting an investigation at an area motel when they spotted a car speeding in the parking lot, leading to them in a chase to Front Street, where the car stopped near Stearns Road. The driver attempted to use someone else’s drivers license. Three people inside the car are now facing charges related to criminal impersonation and eluding outstanding warrants. 24-year-old Teresa Rojas of Binghamton is facing charges of criminal impersonation, 36-year-old Kenneth Biggs, also of Binghamton, is facing the same charge, and Biggs’ daughter, 21-year-old Kwannasia Barnes is facing charges after lying to deputies about her father’s identity. The fourth arrest was 40-year-old Roberta Jo Pewterbaugh, who was found with narcotics. She was released on an appearance ticket, while the other three were sent to the Broome County jail.
