The Tioga County Friends of Hospice are currently holding their latest fundraiser as they look to serve patients in need throughout the county. Now through six o’clock tonight, the Friends of Hospice are hosting Doug’s Fish Fry to Go at the Comfort Inn on Route 434 in Apalachin. Event coordinator Diane Craig says that the funds raised today will go toward a number of causes for patients.The Tioga County Friends of Hospice was established in 1993 to help raise funds for patients in the county, and Craig says that the group raises money in a number of ways throughout the year. Doug’s Fish Fry will be at the Comfort Inn in Apalachin now through six o’clock. Once the Friends of Hospice meet a certain dollar in sales, a portion of the proceeds will be donated.
