The Owego Little League will be celebrating its opening day tomorrow, and on Sunday they will be hosting a Pitch, Hit, and Run competition. Area youth will be able to show off their skills starting at 10 o’clock Sunday at Hyde Park along George Street in Owego. Boys and girls alike will be divided into age groups to participate in the competition, and they will have the chance to advance through four levels of competition, with the National Finals being held at the 2014 Major League Baseball All-Star Game. All participants should bring a copy of their birth certificate and have their parent or guardian fill out a waiver form prior to the start of the competition.
