A woman crashed into a utility pole in the Town of Union on Wednesday, causing the truck she was driving to flip. The woman, whose name has not been released, was able to walk away from the scene without sustaining any major injuries. The incident took place shortly after noon on Day Hollow Road. Police and emergency crews were called to the scene, and NYSEG also had to respond due to some downed power lines following the crash. A portion of Day Hollow Road had to be closed while NYSEG made their repairs and crews cleared the scene. According to reports, two men stopped on the side of the road following the crash and helped remove the woman from her truck through a window.
