The Candor Town Planning Board would like to invite Candor residents to join in the process of updating the town’s comprehensive plan. The planning board is The group is inviting members of the Candor community to a meeting on Tuesday, June 3rd, at 7 PM at the Candor Town Hall at 101 Owego Road. Planning Board chairman Art Cacciola says he does not anticipate a new plan being ready before the fall, but says it’s important for the board to have citizens get involved. Some goals for the newly formed planning board include preserving and protecting the town’s historical structures, attracting and retaining residents, and increasing public participation in local government.
