Tioga Downs in Nichols will be hosting a networking event for minority and women-owned businesses interested in working on the Downs’ upcoming casino expansion project. The event will be held on Thursday at the Nichols casino. Tioga Downs President Tom Osiecki said in a statement that it’s important to include the entire community, including women and minority-owned businesses, in the benefits of their growth. The event will give business owners an opportunity to meet and partner with prospective prime bidders on the expansion project. Attendees are encouraged to bring business cards, references, and other materials to help market themselves.
