A great season for the Owego Free Academy ladies’ lacrosse team was ended in the Class C quarterfinals this weekend when Skaneateles beat OFA 17-2. The Section 3 champion Lakers scored four goals in the first five minutes of the game at Ithaca High School, and took an 11-0 lead into halftime, before eventually leading 17-0. Andrea Zlinsky saved the Indians from being shutout with two late goals. Owego finished the season at 10-3, while Skaneateles improved to 18-1 on the year.
