Lockheed Martin in Owego is set to receive a multi-million dollar award through the U.S. Department of Defense. Lockheed will be receiving $11.3 million for the production kits in support of the MH-60R helicopters’ point-and-click operator interface. The work will be split among multiple Lockheed Martin locations, but approximately 58 percent of the work is expected to be done in Owego, with the other work split among its site in Farmingdale, along with locations in Washington, Texas, and New Jersey. The work is expected to be complete by August of 2017.
