The Candor Library has kicked off its Summer Reading program. Starting this week and running through the next six weeks, through August 16th, readers can pick up a prize or activity at the circulation desk at the Candor Library for their participation. The theme of this year’s program is “Things that go Fizz! Pop! Boom”, so activities will include kits to make your own bouncy ball, as well as balancing tricks, 3D puzzles, and more. Participants are encouraged to fill out a ticket for each book they read, and at the end of the program there will be a drawing for gift certificates to bookstores. Beginning readers all the way up to high school seniors are accepted in the program.
