Excitement at Tioga County Fair Continues

The excitement of the Tioga County Fair continues today and tomorrow at Marvin Park in Owego. The second demolition derby of the fair will be held tonight at seven o’clock and tomorrow is the Sportman’s Day. Included in tomorrow’s festivities are the tractor and truck pulls. Organizer Slugger Rosenberger visited the WEBO Morning Show to talk about the event, which now has separate classes to help make it more competitive. The tractor and truck pulls will begin at ten o’clock tomorrow morning. Also beginning at ten o’clock is the archery tournament. Contestants can bring their own bow and compete for just $10 with the chance to win prizes worth hundreds of dollars. Lock-N-Load’s Ray Reeves talked about the prize packages being offered through the contest, which include bows and crossbows with quivers and accessories.

Starting before both the tractor pulls and the archery tournament will be the lumberjack competition on Saturday which kicks off its first round at nine o’clock.
