Lockheed Martin in Owego is teaming with the Tioga County Boys and Girls Club and Tioga Downs for a Day at the Races event this Friday. The family-oriented event will start at six o’clock trackside at Tioga Downs. The cost for a ticket is $20 which includes food and a five-dollar free play. The five-dollar free play can be used at the casino at Tioga Downs. Four dollars from every ticket sold on Friday will be donated directly back to the Tioga County Boys & Girls Club. This isn’t the first initiative this year that Lockheed has been involved with to benefit the Boys & Girls Club. In March, they helped sponsor Build-it-Bowl, which brought in thousands for the club. The Day at the Races begins at six o’clock this Friday at Tioga Downs in Nichols.
