Owego Apalachin Middle School is collecting food and other items through Dec. 19 for its annual holiday drive to benefit the Tioga County Rural Ministry. Students can bring non-perishable food items into school to be collected in their home rooms. In addition, area residents can send donations to OAMS with a student or drop off items at the OAMS Welcome Center office (the front entrance). Things in need are spaghetti, sauce, canned vegetables, canned fruit, toilet paper, paper towels, peanut butter, jelly, cereal, laundry detergent and diapers.
