The man behind the shooting at the Belmar Pub early yesterday morning has been identified by authorities. 35-year-old Jamal Corbett of Baldwin Street, Johnson City is said to have unloaded his .45 caliber handgun into the floor of the pub. Authorities were nearby at the intersection of Main and Mather Streets when they heard the gunshot and immediately began to investigate. Corbett led authorities on a foot pursuit. He was soon apprehended near the area of 99 Main Street. He has since been charged with criminal possession of a weapon, and reckless endangerment.
