Binghamton City Mayor Rich David signed an executive order yesterday. Under this order, Binghamton Police will undergo further diversity training, there will also be department policy adaptations, and more resources will be directed toward the police department. An investigation will also be launched to determine why there is a lack of applications to work within the police department and city hall by minorities.
