The City of Binghamton has recently filed an application for a grant to bring electric vehicle charging stations to the area. The application for $10,000 in funding was filed with the New York State Energy Research Development Authority’s Cleaner, Greener Communities Program. Mayor Rich David is also pushing for a change in city zoning laws to allow for the new charging stations as well.
