The basketball court inside the Binghamton University Events Center has been renamed in honor of a local doctor after a $1 million gift. BU basketball teams now compete on the “Dr. Bai Lee Court” after an official unveiling over the weekend. Dr. Lee donated the money to the school’s athletic department to help renovate and expand the strength and conditioning facilities for student athletes. It is the largest gift ever given to the athletic department and among the largest individual gifts that the school has ever received.
