Groundbreaking held for new housing project in Owego

The $12.5 million community will include 62 one and two-bedroom apartments off Southside Drive in the Village of Owego. The project is aimed at providing affordable housing for seniors aged 55 and up outside of the village’s flood plain. Owego Gardens is expected to be finished in early 2017. Seniors interested in the housing project should call Julie at Home Leasing by phone at 585-287-5777 or by email to [email protected].
