Tomorrow is the 65th opening day of the Owego Little League’s baseball and softball season. The number of teams has grown over the years, and so have the festivities. Tomorrow’s opening day will kick off with a parade beginning at 8:30. The parade will begin at the police station on Temple street, head down North Avenue, continue onto George Street, then end at Hyde Park. Owego Elementary Students will sing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game”. New this year is a softball field for the ladies in the Owego Little League. Little Leaguers have been practicing for their opening game for four weeks.
