A Binghamton teenager is currently behind bars after allegedly stealing a car and crashing it into a Binghamton home. 16-year-old Peter Smith is accused of stealing a 2013 Subaru. Authorities attempted to stop the vehicle on Route 81 South, but were instead led on a pursuit. That pursuit ended when Smith lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the porch of a home on Mitchell Avenue in Binghamton. Smith is currently awaiting further court proceedings in the Broome County Jail.
