SUNY Broome President, Dr. Kevin Drumm joined demolition crews yesterday to knock down the remainder of the college’s 901 Front Street building. The building was the oldest on SUNY Broome’s campus. It was demolished to make room for a 17,000 square foot facility which will house all of Broome County’s business-assistance and economic-development organizations in one central location. The new facility will house a total of eight different business and economic related agencies, including: a business incubator, the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce, The Agency, the Southern Tier Startup Alliance, and others. Construction of the facility is expected to begin soon.
