The Tioga County Legislature is scheduled to vote on its 2017 budget proposal this evening. Next year’s proposed budget includes a zero percent county-wide tax increase. Next year’s proposed budget would also remain under the New York State tax cap, as well as decrease general fund expenditures. Tonight’s Tioga County Legislature meeting is scheduled to begin at 6pm in the Tioga County Office Building on Main Street in Owego.
