The Binghamton man accused in the fatal hit-and-run accident of a university student posted bond this morning. 26-year-old Aizaz Siddiqui posted a $50,000 bond in Broome County Court and will now be free until further court action. He is accused of striking and killing 20-year-old Binghamton University student Stefani Lineva on Route 434 in Binghamton in the early morning hours of Dec. 3. Broome County District Attorney Steve Cornwell lost an argument to set the bail amount higher. The case is still awaiting review by a grand jury.
