An Owego-Apalachin School District employee has won a state award. Athletics Department Secretary Francine Reynolds has received the 2017 Secretarial Award for Excellence for the Section 4 region from the New York State Athletic Administration Association. Francine – or “Franchise” as she is known by many – will receive her award next week. She was nominated by Athletic Director Andy Buchsbaum, and seconded by every one of the coaches at OFA. The Owego graduate has worked as a secretary for the district since 1996 and in the athletics department since 2014.
