Village Elections will be held in Owego on March 21 for three trustee seats. The two parties with candidates running for the positions will hold meet and greet events with village residents. The first will be held tonight, as the Taxpayers First Party will hold an information meeting at 7pm in the Owego VFW. The party includes Trustee Rob Manville, who is running for re-election in Ward 2, along with newcomers Ken Henson and Nick Ruiz. The two are running for spots in Wards 1 and 3, respectively. The Oak Tree Party will hold their meet and greet event next Wednesday at 6pm in the Calaboose Grill. The party includes Trustee Phoebe Morris, who is running for re-election in Ward 1, and newcomer Mike Baratta, who is running against Manville for the Ward 2 trustee position.
