A 15-year-old Harpursville High School student has been charged with posting a false threat against the school on social media. New York State Police say the unidentified student posted on Facebook last Sunday that two other students were planning a shooting at the high school. The two students named in the post met with State Police investigators and said they had no such plans and the other student was lying. An investigation by police and the school determined those two students did not pose a threat and charged the student who wrote the post with making a terroristic threat. The student was taken into custody yesterday and released to their parents after arraignment.
