The State Police have uncovered a marijuana growing operation on an island in the Susquehanna River in Owego. The state Police posted a photo on Facebook on Thursday without identifying which island was the target. An estimated $30,000 was eradicated in the operation, which was conducted by the Underwater Recovery Team assisted by the Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, better known as C-NET. No arrests have been made. The investigation is continuing.
