Chemung County Deputies arrested 41-year-old John Grantham on Friday on felony charges of Promoting Prison Contraband and misdemeanor Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. Grantham was found to be in possession of a quantity of crystal meth after being transported to the Chemung County Jail from a court arraignment. Grantham was arraigned by Elmira City Court and is scheduled to appear back in court at a later date.
