On Wednesday afternoon, the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office responded to State Route 224 at Langford Creek Road in the Town of Van Etten for a personal injury collision between a truck and a bicyclist. 50-year-old David Reed of Spencer struck a 10-year-old boy, who had run a stop sign. The bicyclist was transported to the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
