A Broome County jury found an Endicott man guilty of second-degree murder on Friday.
According to the Broome County District Attorney’s Office, 51-year-old Antoine C. Loup was convicted for the murder of Aaron LeGare.
On July 8, Loup pulled up to a residence on Filmore Ave. in Endicott and began to argue with LeGare. Loup would pull out a handgun and shoot the unarmed victim in the chest.
LeGare was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Loup now faces 25 years to life in a New York State prison.
The Endicott Police Department investigated the case with assistance from the Broome County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police.
