The UHS Wilson Medical Center has returned to normal operations following an incident on Sunday.
The hospital took precautions on Sunday to care for a patient with a potential infection. According to WBNG-TV, the patient wore a mask throughout their visit and was isolated to ensure everyone’s safety.
For a period of time during the incident, Broome County Dispatch was diverting calls to other emergency rooms.
No further information has been released.
