A police officer was injured after he was stabbed during a domestic dispute in Wyoming County, Pennsylvania.
Officers from the Dalton Borough Police Department responded to a domestic incident on College Avenue in Factoryville at around 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
According to police, 37-year-old Devan Fenton attacked an officer with a kitchen knife, resulting in stab wounds to his face, hands and arms.
Fenton was allegedly attempting to disarm the officer while threatening to kill him.
Tunkhannock Township Police and Pennsylvania State Police arrived on scene and took Fenton into custody.
Fenton was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and several other related charges.
The police officer was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
