The Bradford County Commissioners are accepting proposals for a new mental health center within the county.
The Emergency Behavioral Health Crisis Walk-in Center will be funded by an approximately $3 million dollar state grant recently awarded to Bradford County Human Services.
The proposed center would allow individuals with a wide variety of mental health disorders to receive more specialized care and resources than what can be provided at a hospital emergency room.
Proposals should include plans on who will staff the facility, its location, resources it will require and more.
