Wyalusing man facing felony strangulation charge

A Wyalusing man is facing a felony charge following an incident last week.

According to police, 41-year-old Darren Jacob Ham has been charged with felony strangulation as well as simple assault and harassment.

Ham is accused of putting the female victim in a headlock and then putting his hands around her neck and squeezing, making it difficult to breathe.

The victim was able to get away from the suspect and ran to her mother’s home where she called the police.

Ham was remanded to the Bradford County Jail on $45,000 bail.
